Sarah Weed was born on 3 Sep 1700 in Amesbury, Massachusetts to parents George Weed and Margerite Worthen. She married Thomas Challis on 22 Sep 1727 in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Children: Judith, Peleg, Enoch, Thomas, David, Sarah.
Her husband Thomas' will was written on 8 Jan 1750 and proved on 6 Apr 1752. In it he left bequests to his beloved wife Sarah.
Quakers
Prior to their marriage, Thomas Challis of Amesbury, and Sarah Weed declared their intentions to marry at several Quaker meeting in both Amesbury and Hampton, and on the date of their marriage, at the Friends public meeting at Amesbury, they professed their vows with 41 members in attendance. [1]
