Note: Mary Greenman died intestate in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.
Administration on her estate was granted by the town on 8 August 1743. The record reads (transcribed by the author from the South Kingstown (RI) Probate and Town Council Records, Volume 4, Page 8, on FHL Microfilm 0,931,834):
"South Kinstown.
"The Town council of said town in the County of Kings County in the Colony of Rhode Island ye Gen??? Have this day Granted unto Sylvanus Greenman of said Town, Administration upon all the Personal Estate of Mary Greenman, late of said town ???? deced, at the time of her Death. We the Town Council trusting in your Care & Fidelity do by these presents Commit unto you full power & Authority to Administer upon all and Singular the goods Chattles & Credits of Said Deced and Well and truly to Levy, Recover and Receive all Whatsoever Debts and Dues that may appear and to dispose of the same according to Law and to pay all just Debts in which said Deced Stood Bound for so far as her goods,Chattles & Credits will extend and to Render a true and plain accompt of your Administration to said town Council according to Law.
"Sealed with the seal of said town Council and Signed the 8th day of August in the Seventeenth Year of his Majesty Reign, George the Second over Great Brittain King, Anno Domini one thousand Seven Hundred and Forty three

in Newport, Rhode Island, where he died
about 1688. He married Mary . He
was a wheelwright, and he and his brother
David sold to John Green twenty-two acres of
land, near the village called Green End, on the
highway from Portsmouth to Newport, February
20, 1647. He was a freeman in 1655:
commissioner in 1657; had a quarter share of
land in Westerly assigned to him September
9, 1661 ; was de|nity to the general assembly,
1668-69-70-82: juror in 1^)71, and grand jury
foreman in 1688. Children: i. Edward, born
1663, died 1749, lived at Kingston and Qiarlestown,
Rhode Island ; was deputy, assistant,
speaker of the house of deputies. 2. John,
born i6Wi, died September 30, 1727, leaving
Eunice, Jerusha and Leah. 3. William, mentioned
below. 4. Thomas, born iNx;, diecl
1728; married Mary Weeden : was a tailor by
trade, at South Kingston ; children : Sylvanus,
another son and two daughters, who were nr)t
mentioned by name in his will. 5. Mary, married,
March 8, 1706, Adam Casey, born about
1667, died April, 1765.

I agree with your assessment. That was what I entered in 2011. Another WikiTreer changed the parents. I don't have any additional records to prove or disprove either one.
There is a William Weeden-2177 whom married Sarah Peckham. However, the daughter Mary is a generation later. That's where the Mary Weeden who married Thomas Greenman fits in.

A family tree that was produced by my father during his field research in RI in the 1980s also lists "Mary Weeden's parents as William and Sarah (Peckham) Weeden." I would like to know how confident the attached parents, James Weeden and Mary are. Thanks.
