Biography
Catherine was born about 1846 in Massachusetts.
She was the daughter of Jane and Henry Weeden, and the sister of Civil War veteran Cornelius A. Weeden of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, the first regiment in the United States made up entirely of enlisted men of color.
