James Weekes was born in 1851 in the Colony of New South Wales, the son of James Weekes and Rhoda Stace.[1]
He married Jane Isabella Yarnold in 1877, in the Manning River district,[2]where together they had nine known children, three sons and six daughters.
James Weekes passed away on the 26th September 1931, in Wingham, New South Wales, Australia, aged 80 years,[3]and was interred in the Presbyterian section, Killabakh Cemetery, Killahakh, New South Wales, where he was laid to rest beside his wife.[4]
