Biography
Perna graduated Radford College and taught school for 20 years. She lived in Stanleytown, VA. Her husband, Horace, was an executive at Stanley Furniture.
Perna was a member of Pocahontas Basset Baptist Church and belonged to both the Floyd Court House Chapter of the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) and the Mildred Lee chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy.
She is interred at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville, VA.
