She married John Shave in a Church of England ceremony in St. George's Hanover Square on Saturday 29 March 1806 in London.. John and Ann went on to have two known children together.[3][4]
Her husband John died circa 1824, leaving her a widow. They had at least two children.[5]
At or near the end of John Oaten's apprenticeship, John Shave died. Whether for romantic or practical reasons, John Oaten and Ann Weems formed a bond.
She married John Oaten, a confectioner and pastrycook, son of John Oaten and Hannah Tamsey, in a Church of England cermony in St. George's Hanover Square on Tuesday 3 August 1824 in London. John was 22 years old, and Ann was about 38 years old. Was the marriage about love, or the business? Or both?.[6][7] Ann and John lived in December 1828 in Hanover Square, London.[8]
Ann died on 22 December 1828 in London.[9] Her body was interred in St. George's Hanover Square on 24 December 1828 in London.[10]
