Lena E. Schock, age 103, died Sunday morning, July 26, 2015, at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center.

Born on November 19, 1911, in Oshkosh, a daughter of George and Elizabeth (Felker) Weigandt, Lena was one of nine children.

On June 11, 1931, Lena married Earl Anderson in Waukegan, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1934.

She later married Alex Schock on October 5, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa, and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1994.

A spiritual person, Lena was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, where she was active in many of the church groups and their activities.

She was employed by Pluswood Door on the production line for a number of years. Lena was one of the last centurions to be born in Oshkosh.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Janet (Bob) Davis of Valders, Wisconsin, Joyce Staley of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Henry (Linda) Staley of Pennsylvania; four great-grandchildren, James Connors III of Port Richey, Florida, Brent Davis of Chilton, Clarke Staley and Mary Staley, both of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Lena in death are her husbands, a daughter, Patricia Mary Staley; her sisters, Emma Manley, Florence Weitz, Mavis Twombly, and Faye Oestreich; her brothers, Gordon, Richard, Russell, and Robert Weigandt.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

Interment will follow the service at Lake View Memorial Park.
