Research Notes
Parents: It is highly unlikely that Magdalena was the daughter of David Samuel and Catherine (Hartman) Weimer. There is no indication that either of them was ever farther west than Ligonier in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she would be only about 12 in 1850, when she fails to appear on the census with David and Catherine.[2]
