Mrs. Frances S. Cochran, 79, Winona Lake, a native of Washington Township and a sister of Ralph Weinantz of Shelbyville, died early today at a Warsaw Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cochran was a school teacher in Warsaw for 36 years before her retirement.
She was a daughter of George and Elizabeth(Hilt)Weinantz, and was born in the Flat Rock area May 23, 1893. She was married to Earl C. Cochran in Madison, Nov. 22, 1013 and he preceded in death in 1964.
Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Winona Lake Presbyterian Church, the Order of Eastern Star, Audubon Society and National Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving besides the brother here are a sister, Mrs. Warren(Ursula)Clark of Franklin, and a half-sister, Mrs. Wilbur(Rosa)Scudder of Morristown.
Services will be held at the Ewing Mortuary at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with burial at the Flat Rock Cemetery, Rev. Donald Rice will be in charge of the services.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday.
