Biography
James Weir was born in Scotland in 1823 to Hugh Weir and Agnes Gibson. [1]
In 1858, James married Violet Hart of Druminure, in County Armagh. The couple had two marriage ceremonies. The first was held in Scotland on 31 Oct 1858 at Carluke, Lanark.[2] The second ceremony was held on 11 November 1858, at Clare Presbyterian Church, in Ballymore Parish, County Armagh, Ireland.[3]
James and Violet Weir lived at Carluke Lanark Scotland, and James worked as a "furnace man". James Weir died in 1913 at Carluke. [4]
