"In obedience to an order of the court of Rowan County issued May term 1815 for to divide and make equal distribution of the land of Aquilla Teague, deceased of the said county among his brothers and sisters as his legal heirs. 118 acres jointly conveyed and sold by them (to wit) Jacob Teague, Ezekiel Teague, William Teague and wife Elizabeth; Abraham Teague, Moses Teague, Isaac Welborn and his wife Sary, to Asiel Hitchcock and his heirs (metes and bounds description) Heirs of John Teague are mentioned. Document date 26 July 1815. Recorded August 1815."
