Janet (Welch) Mackie MBE is Notable.
Janet Welch was born in North Rauceby, Lincolnshire on 2 March 1894. She was the daughter of William Welch and his wife Alice. Her birth was registered in Sleaford, Lincolnshire in the second quarter of 1894.[1]
Janet Welch was made a member of the Order of the British Empire on 1 January 1936[2].
Janet married Thomas Mackie on March 14, 1942. They divorced in 1951.
Janet died in Washington, D.C. on November 24, 1959, and was buried in Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington.[3]
