Biography

George was born in 1855. He was the son of George Welch and Sarah Long. He passed away in 1928.

Note: The picture of the four Welch brothers may or may not belong to this family. The picture of George Welch posted by his great-granddaughter appears to be a different person from any of the four Welch brothers in the picture posted by HickmanJanetLynn1 on FamilySearch. Also, William L. Welch is noticeably absent from the 1860 and 1870 US Census records for the family of George Welch and Sarah Long.
