Biography

Mary was born May 1857 in Key West, Florida.^[1] She was the daughter of Peter Welch and Frances Curry.

She married Benjamin Christopher Demeritt on 19 September 1883 in Key West, Florida, in a ceremony performed by Robert Martin, M.E. Church South.^[2] The witnesses were John L. Albury and Mary E. Demeritt.

Mary died on 29 June 1903 in Key West,^[3] and she is buried there in the City Cemetery.^[4]
