John Weller was born in 1858 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire.[1]. He was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 14th February 1858.[2] His father gave his occupation as labourer.
Marriage
John Weller and Harriett Woodward were married at St Peter and St Paul, Church Hanborough on 19th July 1882.[3] They were bachelor and spinster. John was 24, a policeman living in Thame and the son of Mark Weller who was a labourer. Harriett was 22, living in Hanborough and the daughter of Thomas Woodward who was a keeper. They each signed their own name on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were Albert Woodward and Kate Styles.[4]

Death
John died on 4th May 1936.[11] He was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Oxford, Oxfordshire on 6th May 1936.[12] Probate was granted in 1936 to Harriet Weller widow and his effects were valued at £768 12s. 4d.[13] His usual address was given as 203 Divinity Road, Oxford.
