Biography

William was born in 1797. He was the son of William Weller and his wife Sarah Lacey.

He was a brewer maltster and farmer. He inherited his father’s share of the Amersham brewery in 1843, and ran it with his cousin Edward who had inherited his own father’s share the same year.

In 1839 he married Lydia Holloway.

They had children:

He passed away in 1859. Probate granted to his son William, also a brewer of Amersham. Estate under 35000 pounds.

On his death, his estates were divided equally between his sons William, Edward, and George.
