Edward Weller was born in 1853 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire.[1] He was the son of Mark Weller and Emma Slatter. He was baptised on 17th April 1853 at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough and his father gave his occupation as labourer on the register.[2]

Edward emigrated to New Zealand sometime between 1871 and 1880.

Edward Weller and Jessie Munro married in 1880.[5]
Death
Edward died on 17th May 1894 in Oamaru Hospital at the age of 41. He died as a result of an accidental fall at the New Catholic Church.[6]
