Biography

Levi Weller, son of Peter Weller and Elizabeth Goring, ^[1][2] was born in about 1842 in Worth, Sussex. ^[1] He was baptised on 15 May 1842 in Worth, Sussex. ^[2] He died in about November 1901 in East Grinstead, Sussex. ^[3]

On 7 April 1861 in Worth, Sussex, with his parents Peter Weller and Elizabeth Weller, his cousin William Jeffery aged 13 and his siblings Daniel Weller aged 11, Eliza A. Weller aged 8 and Caroline E. Weller aged 1. ^[1]

Research Notes

The only place that Levi's "sister" Lucy appears is in the 1851 census. There is no baptism record for Lucy, whereas there are baptism records for all the rest of Peter and Elizabeth's children. Lucy was also supposedly born in the same year as Levi. Since there is no trace of Levi in the 1851 census, it seems possible that "Lucy" is actually Levi.
