Biography
- William's birth certificate states that there was no previous issue to his birth.
- 1885:- William died of Typhoid Fever at the District Hospital, Beechworth and was buried on the same day, 29 October 1885, in the Beechworth Cemetery.
- Further information from the death certificate ... he was born in Daylesford; his father is William Wellington and his mother is Mary Ann Oates; he was a farmer and he was single. His mother's surname of Oates is actually that of his grandmother, Mary Ann's mother.
