  • Mary Anne was baptised 3 April 1826 at Kea. Her father, Walter, was a Miner residing at Kerley.
  • 1861:- Baldhu; WELLINGTON, Walter, 56 years, Ag Lab; Matilda, 69 years; Mary Ann, 36 years, Mantua Maker; Joseph, 22 years, Miner. (Mantua Maker is another term for dressmaker: loose gown, overgown or robe worn over stays)
  • 1863:- Marriage; COLLINS-WELLINGTON.- December 20, at Baldhu, by the Rev. John Symonds, Mr. William Collins, to Miss Mary Anne Wellington.
