Biography
Zuri was a New York schoolmaster educated a Hartwick Academy. He married Samantha Sharp in 1831; and she was the mother of his children Zeri Lysander born in 1835, Sarah Jane born in 1838, and four others who died young. After his first wife died in 1854, Zuri married the widow Margaret Look.
