Obituary From Frankfurt, Ky paper , Sunday March 13, 1870;
Death of Captain Harry Zollicoffer Wellmore - After a protracted illness a gallant soldier, a stranger in our midst, breathed his last, at the Capital Hotel, at one o'Clock, Sunday morning. A resident of Baltimore, he found his health failing and started South six or eight weeks to find relief ina milder climate. One his way he came to Frankfort to see his father who had taken up his residence here several months previous, but on the route contracted a cold which aggrivated his pulmonary affliction, and laid upon what has proved his death bed. During his long illness, which he bore with patient resignation, everything which affection and friendship could suggest was done for his alleviation, and his bedside was watched with special devotion by one to whom he had plighted his troth and who hastened to him upon the first notification of his illness. His funeral took place yesterday after services at the Episcopal Church by Rev JN who attended his spiritual wants during his illness. The deceased was during the war an officer of the First Maryland Confederate Infantry. His body was followed to the grave chiefly by those who were in that service and interred in the cemetary among his military kindred.
