C, 3rd Arkansas Infantry, at Monticello, Arkansas, June 10, 1861; wounded in the back and captured at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, July 2, 1863; confined at Davids Island, New York, until paroled on August 24, 1863; furloughed to Arkansas; absent without leave in Arkansas, October 15, 1863; dropped from the rolls, August 31, 1864; born c1839; died in Arkansas, October 22, 1902; widow Mattie filed Arkansas pension application #6592 from Lincoln county, August 4, 1904.
