Hi Chaz!

You asked me:

'Do you have any information on Stephen Murphy born about 1797 in county wexford who married Mary Doyle'

Unfortuantely, my answer is 'no - but I wish I could'.

I have scant information about Murphys from County Wexford - including my own Murphys. This is so even though I have been there and saw the townland where my ancestors came from.

May I please ask you why you seek to know? Are you connected to Stephen Murphy and. if so, I'd like to learn more about that so that I can keep a trail in my records.

Has the New Member How-To  been helpful or left you with any questions?

Hi Chaz,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Project participation is strongly encouraged.

Start by thinking about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you're interested. Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Take a look at the list of active projects for examples of what we have going on. I'm here to help you find one that best fits your needs.

If you see one that's just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can find.
