^[1]Samuel H Jameson was married May 5, 1839, to Miss Laura A. Wells, of Licking county, Ohio. She was the daughter of Chester and Laura A. Wells [Polly (Case) Welles], and was born in 1818. They had three children.

Obit: "Died at Hanover, January 19th AD 1848 in the full assurance of a happy immortality, Lura Ann Wells, wife of Samuel H. Jameson, aged 29 years 6 months and 23 days."
