DEATH NOTICE. PARKER.—On the the 27th inst., at Irwin Cottage, York, Mrs. E. R. Parker, from cerebral compression.

OBITUARY. It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Edward Parker, the wife of that well-known and highly respected old settler, Mr. E. R. Parker, of Dangin. Mrs. Parker, who died Aug. 28, was a daughter of the late Mrs. Wells, one of the early Western Australian pioneers.

OBITUARY. We sincerely regret to have to record the death of a respected old colonist, and esteemed lady resident in this town, viz., Mrs. E.R. Parker, which took place early on Tuesday morning last, after a long illness. For many months past the deceased lady had been in declining health, and her death in consequence was not altogether unexpected. The funeral took place on Wednesday morning, proceeding from her late residence to the lower Beverley Church, a distance of some nine miles. A large number of carriages, conveying a majority of the leading citizens, formed in the procession. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Frank Craig (Mayor), J.T. Monger, James Fleay, and W. Edwards. The funeral rites were performed by the Rev. C. E. Groser, and the arrangements were satisfactorily carried into effect by Mr. George Wansbrough. Deceased was 57 years of age.
