Ann WELSH was born in Benholm, Kincardineshire, Scotland on 27 Mar 1826.[1][2]. She was baptised there on 16 Apr 1826.[1] She was the daughter of David WELSH and Ann HAY.[1]
On 3 Jan 1847, she married James HENDERSON in Stonehaven in the parish of Benholm, Kincardineshire, Scotland.[3] She was 20 years old when she married James, who was 29 years old at that time.
In 1851, she lived with her sons Robert (age 3) and James (1) at High Street in Stonehaven, Kincardineshire, Scotland.[2] Her occupation was given as a Seamans Wife and she was 25 years old at that point. (Presumably her husband James was away at sea? Rettie-2 16:03, 27 May 2015 (EDT))

Ann died on 16th May 1856 of consumption (from which she had suffered for 22 months) in Old Town, Stonehaven.[4] Her death is recorded under her maiden name, with her husband James HENDERSON as informant.
