Biography

Benedict Leo Welzbacher was born 10 July 1910, to Anton and Agatha [Meyer] Welzbacher on the farm near Berry Creek Alberta.He passed away in 09 July 1982 in Kelowna, BC >Entered by Owen Lindsay, Saturday, September 28, 2013 The Leo Welzbacher Family: Leo's father Anton came from Germany then to North Dakota and took up a homestead in the Berry Creek area 35 miles southeast of Hanna in 1909. His mother was born in St. Agatha, Ont Leo and Patricia Welzbacher resided land description as SW 32-44-20-4. 3 miles east and 3 miles south of New Norway, purchased the Lewis Herigstad farm in 1946 after Leo came home from the war. . Patricia is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Webb Sr. Her parents came from England to Edmonton in 1906 They sold the farm and moved to Kelowna ,BC. Leo was diagnosis with Alzheimer disease. He passed away 09 July1982 in Kelowna, BC [ Can you add any information on Benedict Welzbacher? Please help grow his WikiTree profile.
