Biography

John was the second son of William Wentworth, of Wentworth Woodhouse[1], and his wife Isabella Pollington.

John Wentworth, Esq. was born at of North Elmsall, Yorkshire, England.

He married, before 1314[2], to Joan de Tyas, daughter of Richard le Tyas.

John married Joan 'Jane' LE TYAS (See Link for Ancestry), daughter of Richard LE TYAS and Alice DE TANKERSLEY Co-heiress of Tankersley, before 1314 in Prob Yorkshire, England. Joan was born circa 1290 in Burgh Wallis, Doncaster, West Riding, Yorkshire, England and died after 1313 of North Elmsall, Yorkshire, England.

Need to check DOB and DOD. He was not 105 years old when he died. Just a guess.
