John "known as Lt. Gov." born 16 Jan 1671, son of Samuel and Mary (Benning) Wentworth ... appointed Lt-Gov of New Hampshire in 1717, an office he held until his death 12 Dec 1730. He married Sarah, daug of Mark Hunking.[1]
