Timothy Wentworth was born 20 Jan 1747 in Berwick the sone of Samuel Wentworth (abt.1700-1780) and Joanna (Roberts) Wentworth (1705-1780)

He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army of the Revolution, Capt. Joseph Pray Jr.'s 4th (2nd Berwick) Co., 2nd York County Regiment of Massachusetts militia.

He married Amy (Hodgdon) Wentworth (1751-1840) 29 Oct 1770 in Berwick They had the following children:

He passed away in 29 Nov 1842 in Berwick. Buried: Wentworth Family Homestead Burial Ground, Berwick, York County, Maine.

Granddaughter's Marriage

• Ellis Tobey married Mary Ella Yeaton, a daughter of Phineas and Phoebe (Wentworth) Yeaton, the latter being a daughter of Timothy and Amy (Hodgdon) Wentworth, of Berwick Me., who settled in Hallowell, the same state, in january 1778. Phineas Yeaton descended from Philip and Ducas (Smith) Yeaton, also of Berwick. Per History of San Luis Obispo County and environs, California. ^[1]
