Biography
Silas was a son of Benjamin (1732-1818) and Rachel (1737-1818) Wentworth.[1]
He married Mary Bickford of Madbury, New Hampshire. Their children were:[2]
- Benjamin, b. 1 May 1781
- Joseph, b. 9 Nov 1782
- Rachel, b. 1784; m. Samuel Jones Jr.
- Jonathan, b. 1786; m. Dorcas Hubbard
- Nancy, b. 1787; m. Samuel Earl
- Amos, b. 1790
- Mary Tibbetts, b. 9 Apr 1795, in Shapleigh, Maine; m. m. Weymouth Ricker
He died in May 1808, in Shapleigh, Maine.[2]

He is mentioned in New Hampshire Families in 1790, Volume 1. It is not accessible online; snippet view is available courtesy of Google.
