Caroline Amelia Wentworth was born at Alstead, New Hampshire, on 18 Nov 1831, the daughter of Asa Wentworth Jr. and Lucy (Warren) Wentworth.[1] In 1850, she was living with her parents at Rockingham, Vermont, at the age of 18.[2]
Marriage
Caroline A. Wentworth married Larkin B. Day of Peoria, Illinois, on 17 Aug 1853. The 1878 Wentworth genealogy says that they were the parents of five children,[1] but the 1900 Census says that Caroline had had six children, three of whom were then living.[3]
Death
No record had been found of the death of Caroline (Wentworth) Day. In 1900, she was a widow living in a rooming house at Chicago, Illinois, and working as an "assistant linen roomer,"[3] and that is the last record found of her.
