An enjoyable evening was spent in the St. Asaph Street Hall to celebrate the coming-of-age of Veda, youngest daughter of the late Mr H. J. T. Wentworth. and of Mrs Wentworth, Worcester street. Linwood. Competitions were won by Misses Nellie Davidson and Grace Hunter, the Monte Carlo dance by Miss Veda Wentworth and Mr W. Hurrell, and the lucky spot dance t»y Miss Nancy Hamsay and Mr S. Clyne. Items were given by Misses Joyce Adams (tap dances), Joyce Wentworth (recitation), and Mr Jack Eainton (vocal and mouth-organ solos). The usual toasts were honoured and the guest of honour was presented with a gold key brooch. Mr Allen Wentworth was master of ceremonies and Mr A. Debenham was pianist. Those present included Mrs H.
