Father Christopher Wentworth b. 1556, d. 8 Dec 1628
Mother Katharine Marbury b. abt 1560, d. aft May 1633
William Wentworth was baptized on 8 June 1584 at St Peter-at-Gowts, Lincoln, England. He married Susannah, widow of Uther Fleming and daughter of Edward Carter, on 28 November 1614 at Alford, Lincolnshire, England. Died: Rigsby, Lincoln, England.[1]
Notes: he had three sons baptized at Alford in Lincolnshire but after the birth of his third son all records of William and Susanna at Alford cease. They moved to Rigsby in Lincolnshire, about two miles away, but very few records of Rigsby still exist. It is not known if they had more children or what became of William and Susanna.[2]
He was living on 16 Mar 1641/2 when listed in the Protestation returns. Norburial or estate record yet found.[3]
Children:
William WENTWORTH (American Emigrant) (b. 15 Mar 1615/16)

This profile is in a possible trail between Gateway Ancestor Elder William Wentworth and Magna Carta surety barons Hugh le Bigod and Roger le Bigod that needs reserch and development by the Magna Carta Project. If there are no objections, I will soon be adding the project as co-manager of this profile and will add a project box and project section to the biography. NOTE: This trail has not yet been verified and needs research. This profile still needs to be developed against the project's checklist. Thanks!
Wentworth rigby-1 and Wentworth-691 appear to represent the same person because: These appear to the same individual, but the alternate profile has added "rigby" to the last name, which I presume must've been a middle name or a typo etc.
