Biography

Mary Louise Wentz, daughter of Arthur A. Wentz and Clarissa Pardy Blackman, was born May 19, 1878 in Taylor Twp., Benton, Iowa. [1] She died February 20, 1953 in Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. She is buried at Orange Grove Cemetery, Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. [2]

Mary married 1st William Pitre on 28 June 1898 in First Presbyterian, Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Their marriage ended about 1913.

She married 2nd Joseph David Carter.

William and Mary became the parents of; Marion Arthur and Ruth Eugenia.
