DOUBLE OAK - Ruth Emma Oxley, 81, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in Lewisville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in North Amarillo Church of Christ in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Arrangements are by Flower Mound Funeral Home.
Mrs. Oxley was born March 30, 1925, in Apache, Okla. She was a longtime resident of Amarillo and a member of the North Amarillo Church of Christ for more than 40 years. She retired from the Bureau of Reclamation after 35 years of service.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna West.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ellsworth Oxley; a daughter, Marilyn Sasueda of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Keith Oxley and wife Deanna of Dallas; a sister, Hilda Maier; six grandchildren, Jim R. Fox Jr., Zane C. West, Shawn West, Jennifer Fox, Wes Oxley and Kristin Powell; and nine great- grandchildren.
