MRS. S. WALES CELEBRATES' 90th BIRTHDAY Has Lived At Rye Park All Her Life Mrs.Selina Wales,who celebrated her 90th birthday on Thursday last,was born on August 1, 1856, at Arkstone, Boorowa. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs John Wesley,of Rye Park district,and has lived the whole of her life at that centre. She married the late Robert Stephen Wales,of Rye Park, in 1888.He predeceased her on June 10, 1925. Mrs. Wales has two daughters, Mrs.Mary J. Banks, Rye Park, and Florence(Mrs Perceval) with whom she has lived for a number of years. There are two sons, Norman, of Rye Park,and Thomas,of Yass. One son predeceased her.Her husband owned the property of "Walla Walla",Rye Park, where the Walla Mines were a going concern in the past. Mrs. Wales, has been bedridden for the past 4½ years.There are 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The birthday was celebrated with a dinner, at which pride of place was taken by the birthday cake surmounted with 90 candles.
