Biography
Ann West was born about 1670, the daughter of Nathaniel West and Elizabeth, the daughter of George Preston of Holker Hall and Margaret, daughter of Sir Thomas Strickland of Sizergh Castle.
Ann West married Sir Robert Plumpton of Plumpton.[1]
Robert Plumpton, Esq., of Plumpton, married first Ann [West], daughter and heir of Nathaniel West, buried at Spofforth on 20 June 1705. They had issue:

Robert Plumpton married secondly Juliana daughter of Thomas Appleby Esq of Linton upon Ouse widow of Rowland White Esq buried at Spofforth 14 January 1708 or 1709; Will 26 June 1708 vol lxv Robert Plumpton married thirdly Isabel daughter of William Anderton Esq of Euxton com. Lanc.[2]
