Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb 3 at Faith Baptist church for Notie Elizabeth Wells, 69, of 403 Goodwin Court, Crossville. She died Feb 1 at Cumberland Medical Center. Burial was in Crossville City cemetery. Born on May 3, 1910 in Putnam county, Mrs Wells was the daughter of Alfred and Julia West Barnes. A member of the Faith Baptist church, she was a housewife and a widow. Mrs Wells leaves a daughter, Mrs Ruth M Sinclaire, Dayton, Oh; 2 half-brothers, Paul Barnes, Crossville; Lester Barnes, Dayton, Oh; and a half-sister, Fannie Mae Houston, Cincinnati.
She is buried in Crossville City Cemetery under the name Notie Wells.
