Biography

Brigham Young "cancelled the sealing" of Ira West to Charlotte Amelia Van Orden in his office on December 2, 1851, and the following day she was married as a plural wife (his fourth) to Martin Horton Peck in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Ira was born in 1824. He was the son of Alva West and Sally Benedict. He passed away in 1893.
