Biography
Hannah West was born on 5 March 1770 in Gorham, Maine. Her parents were Desper West and Mary (Green) West[1].
She married Elijah Cook on 13 November 1790 in Windham, Maine. She passed away in 1810. They had twelve children[2]:
- 1. Reuben, born 11 Feb 1791
- 2. Nathan, born 11 Nov 1792
- 3. John, born 7 Sep 1794; died young
- 4. Eli, born 1 Nov 1795
- 5. Isaiah, born 6 Jun 1797; died young
- 6. Mary, born 6 Jun 1797; died young
- 7. Ira, born 24 Jan 1799
- 8. Ezra, born 15 Jan 1801; died young
- 9. Joseph, born 13 Feb 1802; married 1st Eunice Grant, 2nd Polly (Strout) Spiller

- 12. Winslow, born 9 Jul 1808
