Biography

Thomas West is an Anzac who served in World War Two.

Thomas became an airman. In World War Two he was a flight sergeant in the RNZAF with service number 403826.

It has been inferred from the summary record at NZ Archives that he was divorced from his wife Monica sometime around 1952. He then remarried to Millicent Tozer Ardley (who was previously married to Leonard Ardley).

He passed away in 1991. He has a serviceman's plaque at Waerenga Cemetery, and also appears on a plaque with Millicent West at Waikaraka Cemetery in Auckland. Auckland Council records indicate that ashes were interred at Waikaraka Cemetery on 19 July 2007.
