Biography

Jared, the sixth child and fourth son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Hamilton West, was born 11 June 1780 in Lee, Berskshire, Massachusetts.^{[1][2][3] [4]}

He married Esther Olmstead on October 2, 1805 in Athens, New York, the Reverend Alexander Fraser presiding.^[5]

In 1810, the Census shows him living in New York City, Ward 3.^[6]

He died 5 September 1834. ^[7][8][9]
