"On the old road which winds through the country from Barnsboro to Mickleton, a road which is to-day but little used, lies what is left of the Jessup cemetery, on the brow of a hill near the old Jessup homestead, about a mile from Barnsboro. The farm when visited was owned by Harry Lafferty. The yard was formerly surrounded by a good stone wall, but sometime during the years this wall was dismantled by the owner and the larger part of the yard was then under cultivation. There are but three stones remaining:

West-15279 and West-5490 do not represent the same person because: West-15279 John West married Jane Acklam in Bridlington, England in 1768 and they had four children there, the last in 1780.
West-5490 Another John West was born about 1735 in Gloucester County, New Jersey America with parents Richard and Rachel and three brothers who all farmed in the area, and he died there 1798 unmarried and childless.
Obviously incompatible.
