Biography
Samuel was born on 28 Dec 1796 in jefferson, DeKalb co, Tennessee and died on 29 Sept 1838 in Pigion Forge, Sevier co, Tn. He is the son of Edward West-(1766-1849) and Elizabeth Humphreys-(1774-1839).
He married Ann Dinwiddie Rankin-(1800-1838) on 16 March 1819 in Greene, Tn and together they had these known children listed below;
