Elizabeth West was born in 1810, in Pittsylvania county, Virginia, a daughter of Joseph West and Catherine McHaney. ^[1] On December 22, 1828, in Pittsylvania county, Virginia, Thomas East married Elizabeth West, a daughter of Joseph West. ^[2]
