Biography
Anne West, daughter of William West and his wife, Mary Richardson, was baptised at St Peter, Cowfold on the 15th of December 1760. [1] Her father died in 1763 and was buried at St Peter, Cowfold on the 15th of November. [2]
She married Charles Dowlen, son of Edward Dowlen and his wife, Jane Grant, at St Peter on the 24th of April 1783. [3]
Charles died in 1821 and was buried at St Peter on the 29th of March. [4]
Anne died on the 19th of June 1825 and was buried at St Peter on the 25th. [5]
"In memory of Ann the wife of Charles Dowlen who departed this life on the 19 of June 1825" [6]
