Biography

Sarah, or Sally West, married Thadeus Hemingway on 31 July 1814 in Chester, NH^[1].

In the 1850 census, Thaddeus is no longer in the family, as records show he was put in an insane asylum sometime in the 1840's, and they are living in Waldeboro, south of Montville, with a blacksmith named Pollard and a joiner named Demuth.
