Biography

Peggy Joe Westmoreland was born in 19 Dec 1926. Her father, Miles William Westmoreland was 24 and her mother, Joe Clark King was 16 when she gave birth to Peggy. Peggy gave birth to Myles Rease Parton, "Rease" on 31 Jul 1956 in Dallas, Texas. ^[1] On Paggy's birth certificate her middle name is spelled "Joe" but she did not use this.^[2] She was named after her mother. She married Rease Leon Parton who went by the name "Leon". She died at the age of 48, just eight days before her 49th birthday. According to the death certificate,she had a heart attack due to pulmonary edema and chronic bronchitis.^[3]
